For sunscreen use,

  • apply liberally after cleansing and 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Remove safety seal under cap prior to first use. Use water resistant sunscreen when swimming or sweating.
  • Children under 6 months: ask a doctor.
  • Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease risk, regularly use a sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 15 or higher and other protective measures including:
  • Limit time in sun, especially 10 am to 2 pm, and
  • Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses.
